Content policy

What we will not print, how we check designs, and how to report a design that infringes your rights.

Version 2026-10 · in force from 6 October 2026

Inni prints what people design, so we need clear rules about what we will and will not print, publish or sell. This policy applies to everything on Inni: designs, uploads, text, AI prompts and images, public profiles, stores and creator pages. It is part of our Terms of use and our Terms of sale.

1. What we do not print or publish

  • Sexually explicit content.
  • Any sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors in any way.
  • Hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people for their ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
  • Extreme or graphic violence.
  • Illegal symbols, and terrorist or extremist propaganda.
  • Content that encourages self-harm.
  • Threats against, or harassment of, a real person.
  • Other people's personal data, such as an address or phone number.
  • Anything else that is illegal in Finland or in the country the product is shipped to.

2. Other people's rights

Only use artwork, photos, logos, brand names, characters, lyrics and text that you made yourself or have permission to use. Printing someone else's trademark, copyrighted work or a real person's face without permission can infringe their rights, even on a single shirt for yourself.

Designs with brand logos, brand names, well-known characters or real people's faces are not refused automatically, because many are legitimate: your own company logo, your band, a photo of your friend who agreed. You can order them for yourself, but they are held for a check by a person before printing, which can delay your order, and they cannot be made public or sold in a store unless a review approves them (section 4).

The same applies to suggestive content, weapons and drugs: allowed on a product you order for yourself, held for a check before printing, and not published or sold unless a review approves them.

3. How we check designs

Uploaded images, AI prompts, AI results and text are checked by automated tools, and a design must pass before it can be made public or listed in a store. A prompt or text that breaks section 1 is refused straight away, with the reason. If our checking service is unavailable, content stays unchecked: you can keep designing, but it cannot be published until it has been checked, and an order using it is held until then.

Automated tools make mistakes in both directions, so a person takes the decision before we refuse to print a paid order. If we refuse to print a design you have paid for, we cancel the order, refund it in full and tell you the reason. If we remove a public design, a store listing or a profile, we tell you which rule it broke, unless the law prevents it.

4. Asking for a review

When an image or design is kept private or removed under section 2, you can use Request a review next to it in the studio, your library or your designs. Tell us why it should be allowed and, if you can, add proof, such as a licence or a document showing the brand is yours. Reviews about logos, brand names, characters and real faces are decided by a person. Reviews about suggestive content, weapons and drugs are first decided by an automated reviewer; if you disagree with that outcome, write to us and a person looks at it.

For any other decision, including a refusal under section 1, a cancelled order or a removed store listing, write to hello@inni.com within six months and tell us why the decision was wrong. A person reviews it and tells you the outcome.

5. Reporting a design

If you believe a design on Inni is illegal or infringes your rights, email hello@inni.com with:

  • the link to the design, store or profile, or the order number if you have it;
  • what is wrong with it, and, for a rights claim, which right you hold (for example a trademark registration or your copyright in an image);
  • your name and email address (you may stay anonymous when reporting child sexual abuse material);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the information is accurate and complete.

We confirm that we received your notice, review it without undue delay, and tell you what we decided. If we remove the content, we also tell the person who published it, and why.

6. Repeat offenders

We may suspend or close the account, store or creator page of anyone who repeatedly uploads content that breaks this policy, or who repeatedly sends notices that are clearly unfounded. We warn first, unless the content is seriously illegal.

7. Illegal content

Where the law requires it, we report content to the authorities and keep the information they may need. We report child sexual abuse material without exception.
